Meet Mark Mullen

Mark is a Wisconsin-based Realtor with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Dream Partners who brings a lifetime of local knowledge, leadership, and a people-first mindset to his role in real estate. A longtime Janesville resident of over 30 years, Mark was born in Madison and raised in Stoughton, giving him deep roots and a strong understanding of southern Wisconsin communities. He currently serves as a physical education teacher and coach at Craig High School, where he continues to make a lasting impact on students both in the classroom and on the field.

In 2023, Mark was honored with the Crystal Apple Teaching Award from Channel 15, a prestigious recognition that speaks to his character, dedication, and the meaningful relationships he builds with those around him. Known for being hard-working, enthusiastic, personable, and a lot of fun, Mark has a natural ability to connect with people and make them feel comfortable—something his clients truly value throughout the buying and selling process.

Throughout his career in education, Mark has built a reputation for helping others succeed and reach their full potential—qualities he now brings into his work in real estate. His coaching background includes mentoring athletes who went on to play at the collegiate and professional level, reflecting his ability to guide people toward achieving big goals. Mark holds a degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in Kinesiology, with a focus on biomechanics, along with a master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction.

Mark’s passion for real estate stems from a lifelong interest in homes and construction, along with personal experience building two homes with his wife, Carrie. Being closely involved in the building process has given him valuable insight into what it takes to bring a home from vision to reality. He is passionate about helping clients find their dream home and guiding them every step of the way with confidence and care.

Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with his family and being a father. Whether he’s four-wheeling, traveling, golfing, or simply enjoying time with friends, he brings the same energy and positivity to his personal life as he does to his work.
